Computer games are at its peak these days most especially that internet connection is very accessible. As a gaming enthusiast, I never miss out playing some rounds of my favorite games like Tremulous. A friend first introduces me to this game and eventually like it primarily because it is a freeware and second, it fully satisfies my cravings for ultimate gaming experience.
Tremulous
Tremulous is a multi-player Human Vs Alien first-person shooter game fighting for supremacy. The opposing teams are capable of constructing buildings which is important factor to their success and they must eliminate the players of opposing team together with their spawned points to win. I’ve been playing Tremulous with my friends for some time and loved it very much. If you haven’t played it yet, I hope the facts will help you out.

I’m playing the Tremulous 1.1 version with 95.63MB total file size and works in platforms like Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows 98 and Windows 95. However, you cannot download the game unless you’ve preinstalled a 3D card with OpenGL support onto your computer system.
Features
This multi-player game has common objective and that is to kill the opponents’ remaining players and their spawn points. Players are given the choice either to fight for humans or aliens. Tremulous game comes with an RTS element or mode that allows both teams to build their respective camp bases or completely destroy them and transfer to another location. I really enjoy this feature of the game.
Human players gain credit points every time an alien is killed. In return, these credits could be used in buying new and high-powered weapons as well as upgrades from Armoury. On the other hand, every time an alien player kills a human enemy, instead of credit points, aliens advances into higher class. That is why the more an alien kills its human enemy, the more powerful these classes becomes.
Tremulous - Alien Grenade
The ultimate goal of the game is to completely eliminate their opponent which is only achieved not only by killing the opponents but to completely take their ability to re-spawn by tearing down their spawn structure. I am further fascinated to this game because it allows playing in different worlds with its respective characters, opponents, difficulty, characters and maps.
Pros and Cons
Aside from the fact that the game is totally free and does not require using technologically advanced computer platforms to be able to download the game although I am very grateful that the game now has a Linux version. The game entails a lot of thrill and excitement. However, I just have some difficulties in figuring out some of the controls which was extremely confusing during my initial try.
Tremulous is an excellent game perfect for those seeking ultimate gaming experience.
