GADGETS MINOX A / IIIS

Created by a Latvian, and featured by George Lazenby, This little spy camera has been the most widely used for a really long time now. Although the movie has clearly misinterpreted the camera (For example, our handsome spy holding it Upside down! Or the viewfinder with green filter), the gadget is by all means just as sleek in the real. The motive behind its inception was to develop a camera that was small (couldn’t well be a spycam if it boasted its size now could it?) and could take high quality, unprompted shots smoothly.

Minox A

The cam has its merits outside of being the most widely used in its field. The outside shell is made of ultra light aluminum. It was first manufactured in 1955 and continued till 1969. It had the edge over other cameras due to its compact size which allowed it to stay out of sight and take pictures without the need to steady it with both hands.

The Minox has also starred in the movie “On her Majesty’s secret service” in 1969. George Lazenby used this sleek little thing to capture biological warfare agents. The model in the film is the latest as the production line saw the last of the like as soon as the movie came out.

TVCLEAN – LET YOUR GADGETS SPARKLE GOOD!

TC Clean SmallWith the onslaught of LCD cameras, laptops, flat screen TVs, touch screen phones and what not; TV clean is the perfect accessory to keep your collection of fancy electronics clean and sparkling. This device may look like a lint roller at first sight but it does more than that. This compact machine, designed by NASA (which says something about its usefulness in an electronic-littered environment) cleans up screens without leaving any scratches and wipe marks. It also saves one the trouble of having to be too careful while cleaning up touch screens which have the danger of getting damaged or dysfunctional if scratched or rubbed too heavily.

This cleaner uses a rubber pick up roller. The user needs to fill up the cartridge and a small adhesive strip which traps dust particles permanently as well a component called Microfibre Ecowipe which clears greasy fingerprints off the screen. The strip is then discarded after use. This device comes in a sleek, handy design, easy to hold without coming into contact with the screen. It is lightweight enough to be held up without tiring the hand. Since it rolls manually, it requires no battery charging and thus unlike other electric cleaning devices, the makers of TV cleaner claim it to be very eco-friendly. It uses no chemicals or rags that might damage or scratch the screen that is being cleaned and the rubber pick up roller cleans up particles up to 1 micron in size using the Microfibre Ecowipe. Since 1 micron is comparable with the size of the fingerprint lines just about too small to be seen by naked eye in light this means that almost every visible dust particle is cleaned up using this nifty device.

8. Fedora 11

Fedora 11, Red hat’s community focused Operating System is for Laptops and Desktops. In Performance Fedora 11 beat Windows and now Fedora is polished and more professional.

Although Fedora does not have all the desktop refinements like in Ubuntu (Linux), it uses ext4 as its default file system which speeds performance and maintains integrity where as ext4 on Ubuntu is an option. Ubuntu have made ext4 file system as option because some incompatibilities in application caused data loss problems. But I don’t know exactly, the problem may be solved in Fedora 11.

Fedora 11 takes 20 seconds to reach login menu completing the boot process and the boot time may be still less some thing windows Operating systems have not achieved.

New features of Fedora 11 include GNOME 2.26, integrated Thunderbird 3, OpenChange, eclipse Profiling Tool and more. Netbeans 6.5 is added in Fedora 11 which is the most significant update.  But many studies revealed that Fedora 11 does not have potential to impress the crowd.
