When LG unveiled the new LG Chocolate mobile phone and fed little curiosity by giving away a few specifications. The BL40, or the latest LG Chocolate mobile phone, is the fourth amongst its series and a recent and proud addition to the LG black label.

The official shots have shown a very stylish looking, broad but sleek phone in glossy red and black which screams attention. Since the video teaser, everyone got to talk about the 4 inch multi-touch screen which is a joy to just look at, for the moment atleast!

It looks like most of the expected specs are in sync with those of Arena. The BL40 is rumored to have a 5 megapixel camera with other connectivity goodies like Wi-Fi, HSDPA etc.

The highlight is the high-definition LCD (packed with a stunning 800×345 pixel resolution) which would allow you to experience color and clarity in a whole new way. The size of the screen combined with a 21:9 aspect ratio allows the user a prime mobile viewing experience and a cinema-like feel. Since you’re on-screen data no longer needs to be crammed, the user can breath a sigh of relief at the expediency of it.

Not to forget, it would also make web browsing much easier and more efficient by allowing more space and disposing off the need to scroll here and there in order to read through an entire webpage. The dual screen user interface allows you to use two various contents at the same time. Talk about being geared up!

It doesn’t just stop there. The “Real VGA” screen will change the way you’ve seen pictures, documents, and videos on a mobile screen. Be it your documents, games, videos, or pictures, the wide HD LCD is designed such that you’ll experience revitalization of what you see. True colors, vivid videos and pro-user document interface The wide HD LCD “Real VGA” screen provides a full range of natural colors for displayed images, making photos more crisp, videos more true-to-life, games more dynamic and documents more readable.

The LG Electronics knows how awesome their screen is. Dr. Skott Ahn, The CEO, boasts of his latest toy in the following manner: “Although much interest seems focused on the striking shape of the handset, the real surprise will be when people discover the advantages of the 4.0-inch screen in terms of viewing pleasure and ease of use.”

The LG Chocolate’s design is another thing that takes you over completely. The Standard blackest of black finish and the red highlights that have become synonymous with everything Chocolate continues here too. The screen has a superimposed tempered glass sheathed in sleek black casing. While I could go on and on about how striking this new LG Chocolate phone is, you could also visit the LG website and know for yourself.

Slim as the devil and just as charming, as soon as it hits the market in 52 countries, I know where I’ll be spending my savings!

Nokia e75 a household name for user, it’s hardly surprise for us that e-series becomes enhanced update to a great extend and greeted with plenty of excitements. The e-series included this latest model Nokia E-75 is no

Exception, the side-sliding QWERTY keyboard form factor lands on symbian turf. There’s no denying that it’s slide-sliding possibly good for a teenage targeted music phone like nokia 5730 xpressmusic. It is a full featured business phone. Welcome to the nokia E-75.

MAIN DISADVANTAGES:

1) Expensive at this point, more than 350 euros or 500$

2) Too tiny controls around the D-pad

3) Camera performance is not so good

4) Cheap looking front

5) Fingerprint-prone

6) Limited battery life as compared to other E-series

Even if we leave some scores of competing business cell phones, the nokia E-75 still faces some negative remarks from within the e-series range itself. It’s close to the E90 and must have functions like E71.it’s more like an alternative rather than a substantial upgrade. E71 is pretty much impressive than E75. Software – S60 3rd Edition. It has latest S60 3rd Edition software hat gives you some additional good performance. There are some new folders and applications shortcuts that help the user to jump quickly to the applications. The keypad is mapped to the 12 icons. It took me a bit of time to understand all of its functions and applications because I wasn’t used to this new default configuration. The great thing is that u can customize the folders and organize your device just how you want.

Specifications of the Nokia E75 include:

1) S60 3rd Edition

2) Feature Pack 2 OS

3) Quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA/UMTS support, the bands for North America and international in separate models

4)50mb internal memory

5)ARM 11 369 MHz processor

6) 2.4 inch 320×240 QVGA display

7) Integrated 802.11 b/g WiFi radio

 Integrated GPS receiver

9) 1000 mAh Lithium ion battery (BL-4U)

10) Talk time 5hours and 20minutes

11) MicroSD card slot with microSDHC support

12) 3.2 mega pixel camera with flash

13) Micro USB port

14) Weight of 4.89 ounces and size of 4.40 x 1.97 x 0.57 inches

It is still a S60 device and now we have iphone and Goggle Android devices along with palm Pre with Web OS. I personally like the S60 and Windows Mobile operating system because they can easily be customize and understandable functions and also user’s friendly .The S60 3rd Edition OS is rock solid and I never, ever see my S60 devices randomly reset or lockup. A popup appear when charging is completed and telling me to unplug the charger that saves energy. I like these kinds of thoughtful touches.

How many times have you almost dropped your iPhone into a puddle? How many times have you dropped it into a puddle only to have it get ruined by its encounter?

Most people would buy a whole new iPhone at this point, especially since most warranties don’t cover water damage, but you may not have to. A water damaged iPhone can be repaired, if you know what you’re doing; however, there is no completely foolproof method of repairing a water damaged iPhone. These tips though should at least help.

1) Get The iPhone Dried Fast

If your iPhone accidentally takes a swim, get it out of the water as fast as you can and check it out. Occasionally, if you’re lucky, your iPhone will work, or at least still partially work. Next, dry your wet iPhone with a towel, as much as you can, and try any one of the following.

2) Turn Your iPhone Off

Leave it turned off for 48-72 hours so it can air dry and not get fried by being turned on with water in the circuits. Put the iPhone somewhere warm and well ventilated, but not too hot or you’ll do even more damage to your phone. And, don’t turn it on for the duration of up to seventy two hours or the drying effect will be ruined. For some people, this works, other times, not so much.

3) Remove the Battery and Sim

As soon as you get iPhone out of water, remove it’s battery and also remove SIM card, removing battery will ensure that there is no short circuit happens inside the phone because of water as current keeps flowing even if it is turned off. Removing SIM will save your sim from any damage however normally SIM does not get damaged by getting wet.

4) Remove excess water

You can always remove excess water by various means, like putting it in Towel, Shaking the iPhone, wrapping in Newspaper and then shaking. Do whatever you can to remove most of the water, after that only few droplets of water will be left inside phones which can be removed or dried following next few steps.

5) Use Ear Buds

You can use Ear buds to reach to those areas where your finger, papers and towels can not reach use ear buds to clean those area, You can make your own by using cotton and needle to clean it up.

6) Use Vacuum Cleaner

You can also use vacuum cleaner to suck extra water out of iPhone. If you have Air blower that can also be used at low temperature setting to dry it. Any kind of Air blower or dryer can be used, basically water will vaporize when air blows through the iPhone, remember Air and water can reach in tiny holes which we can’t even see.

7) Freeze Your iPhone

Put the iPhone in the fridge. It sounds bizarre, but the cool air will draw out any moisture safely. Make sure to place it on a towel first and do not put it in the freezer or the LCD screen will be damaged. Take it out every ten minutes to check on it until it is dry.

8 ) Pull Your iPhone Apart

If you’re technologically savvy, as a last resort you can pull apart your iPhone and dry and clean each piece individually and put it back together again. You have nothing to lose. The warranty is probably already null from the water damage and some iPhone users have done this before and had their iPhone working again. You may find that you have to replace a few pieces, but this is still cheaper than a complete replacement or having the Apple company repair the Iphone for you.

9) Put Rice With The iPhone

Towel dry it and put your water damaged iPhone into a dry zip lock bag filled with white rice and leave it somewhere warm and dry for twenty four hours. The rice will draw out the moisture without damaging your phone.

Although your first instinct with a water damaged iPhone is to scream and then buy a replacement one, you might not have to. Although there is no guaranteed way to repair a water damaged iPhone, the above tips may work for you and save you a lot of time and heartache.

If you want a phone with great multimedia features and are a bit tight on the budget then this is the phone you’re looking for – Verizon Wireless CDM8950. Some the features that come with the phone are that it has external music player controls, its Evolution Data Optimized, stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3 MP camera and GPS. However, the best part is that it comes free with a two-year contract.

There’s nothing very eye-catching about the Verizon Wireless CDM8950. The CDM8950 is 3.7 inches long, 7.9 inches wide and 0.8 inches thick. It weighs around 3.2 ounces. Towards the front of the phone there is a 1 inch display that can support 65,000 different colors. It displays the time, date, battery, signal and caller ID. The display could also be used to view your portrait while taking a picture of yourself and to also view the current track being played on the music player.

Even though the keys are like they’re squeezed close together, however are elevated from the surface, making it much easier to feel the keys even if you can’t take out the phone and look at the keys. The Verizon Wireless CDM8950 isn’t the exactly best keypad in the world, however, isn’t all that bad either.

The display of the mobile’s main screen is around 2 inches and has a 262,000 color support. The screen is extremely vibrant and colorful and has pretty good graphics. You can save up to 500 contacts in the phonebook. Also with basic features the phone has are text and multimedia messaging, speakerphone, a calculator, stopwatch, clock, notepad, voice command and alarm.

The Verizon Wireless CDM8950 has a 1.3 MP camera and the photo quality is not bad. The camera has digital zoom, white balance, effects and a self timer. The phone doesn’t come with any games; however, if you want them you can download them from the Verizon online store. Other features include stereo Bluetooth, mobile e-mail, Web browser, mobile AIM and GPS.

The call quality of the phone is superb. The speakerphone is not as clear, however, there are no major problems in communication. The EV-DO is an excellent speed helps quickly downloading files and loading web pages. Considering it’s a free phone it is quite surprising that it has so many fantastic features. The cell phone has a talk time of 4.66 hours (280 minutes) and standby time of 280 hours (12 days).
