To give you wider perception what this device offers, below are product specs of Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 as well as its pros and cons.

Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 is created with simple, trouble-free navigation. Its 10.1 inch screen has energy-efficient backlit LED and 1024×600 screen resolutions. The backlit LED aids in lower power consumption and less warming up time. It uses Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system, 2GB maximum memory, 250 hard drives with 5,400rpm hard drive speed.

It also uses Intel GMA 3150 for graphics memory card which is considerably better than earlier models but still inappropriate for heavy online gaming. The use of Intel Atom N450 reduces program waiting time to boot and improve the overall performance of this computing device. It uses a 6-cell lithium battery that runs up to 11 hours, thus allowing you to enjoy longer internet connectivity.

Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 has Wi-Fi but without Bluetooth feature yet it has a built-in web cam and a microphone located at the edge of viewing screen. This netbook is created to be an environmentally-friendly computing device.

With its improved speaker, it has better audio quality and the availability of USB Sleep and Charge feature makes this device travel-friendly that allows you to charge continuously even when switched off. While the impact sensor installed in the hard drive safeguard your data in case of sudden drop or movement.

The reported disadvantage of Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 is exclusion of Bluetooth capabilities and smartcard reader slot. It has slow booth time and shorter battery runtime are another downside of Toshiba Mini NB305-N410.

Therefore, Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 is best for people who frequently travels and always on the go. This tiny device is the finest choice notwithstanding its shorter battery runtime.

With the launch of Chrome based Netbook by Google it is obvious that future is online only. In coming days we will be using everything online instead of buying and installing application on our computer. We will have to be dependent on Online services and pay for them if required. Keeping that in mind I have prepared a list of 7 most essential services / application which are used online these days and must have for any user who is going to use Netbook like Cr-48 (chrome Based).

Online Services By Google

1. Google Search — Well Google search is first in my list and almost every web user who uses internet in any form uses it for one thing or other. Google search has become an integral part of online life in last few years and One can’t live in cyberspace with Google search. Now you can say that why not other search engine, Yes they are also there but 90% of search performed in Internet space are using Google. So clearly Google is market leader in the search operation and no other Search engine going to take that position for at least 5 more years. The way Google is improving and optimizing their search results it will be safe to say in the future all other search engine will lose their market share sooner or later.

2. Gmail or Google Mail — There was a time when All free email service provider started thinking to go paid. Some of them already did that like usa.net and then came the Gmail which changed the way free web based service will be used by us. They not only announced free mailing but also Gave space of 1Gb which was dream at that time. Now the days Again Gmail drives the way other free web service provider works and provide service to you. Here also Google has best services and they also have another premium Gmail service where they charge you but even basic Gmail is more than enough for any user.

3. Google Docs — Google doc is one service which removed requirement of buying Microsoft Office or installing any other application on your machine. You can almost do anything and everything a home user need for Office suite point of view, using Google docs and that too free. All you need is internet connectivity and an Google Account which is free. It also have real time document sharing and updating feature where multiple user can work on same document all together.

4. Dropbox — Dropbox provides you 2Gb web space for free to store any of your important files. If you need more space you can purchase that by paying some nominal fees, but for an home user I don’t see any reason to buy more than 2GB space for their normal usage unless you plan to store all your Video online Dropbox creates a shared folder in your windows explorer and once configured it can be used like any other Folder or partition on your Hard disk.

So here is the list 4 best online free service and by subscribing and using these you can get rid of several Application which otherwise you need to perform normal day to day activities. Moreover these are free and usage your internet connection which anyway you going to have as basic necessity for you.

Samsung NC20

One of the best things I like about the new Samsung NC20 is that unlike most Netbooks it has 12.1 inch screen and actually one of the very few laptops with Via’s Nano CPU. Here are some of the features of this laptop: It has a1.3GHz Via Nano processor, RAM of 1GB, VGA output, Bluetooth 2.0, a 1.3 megapixel camera which is quite useful for video conferencing, hard drive of 160GB and comes with Windows XP.

Another excellent feature of this laptop is that it actually has a larger touchpad compared to most of the netbooks. The full-size keyboard seems to be easy to use; however, there seem to be no quick launch buttons. This however is a common thing for most netbooks. The laptop does not have HDMI ports or ExpressCard slots.

As, mentioned above this is one of the few netbooks with a 12 inch LCD screen. It offers a 1,280 by 800 pixel resolution. In addition, it has Chrome9 graphics, which give it an edge over most of the netbooks that usually use Intel 945 graphics. The measurements of the laptop are 11.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. The weight of the netbook without the adapter is 3.3 pounds and 4.1 pounds with the adapter.

The audio quality of the NC20 seems to be above satisfactory. It may not be the ideal gaming laptop, however that being said the video quality isn’t that bad either.

The new design of the Via Nano CPU in this laptop seems to give it an edge in some cases over most netbook which have Intel’s Atom processor.

The battery life of the laptop may not be the best in the market like Acer Eee PC 1000HE; however, the six-cell battery is pretty good when compared to laptops like Dell Mini 12.

The laptop comes at a price of $549.00.

Samsung has a new laptop in the market since its release of laptops last year. This laptop wins good points for superb keyboard with a few changes here and there and large keys making typing easier. In addition, it also has a very impressive battery life. Here are some of the features in the laptop: the processor is a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270, the RAM is 1GB and it comes with Windows XP. The price of the laptop ranges from $409.00 to $459.00.

There’s nothing extraordinary about the laptop’s design as it has a black inside and smooth black cover. The touch pad is excellent and easy to use as it is larger than most laptops. Basically it’s redesigned from Samsung’s old netbook NC10.

The size of the LCD screen is 10.1 inches and has a resolution of 1,024 by 600. There is also a 1.3 Megapixel extremely useful for video chatting. The graphics aren’t great as they’re Intel integrated, but are quite satisfactory. The measurements of the laptop are as follow: 10.3 inches by 7.3 inches. The laptop is quite light and weighs 2.8 pounds and 3.6 pounds with the AC adaptor.

The Samsung N110 comes with 93% full-sized keyboard, this enables easy and fast typing as keys are big enough and suitable for fast typing. This Netbook is perfect for School, office or home use. Because of it’s keyboard size it’s advantageous to buy this as on other netbook your typing speed drops a lot because of Keyboard size.

The performance isn’t outstanding, but is better than satisfactory. It’s pretty good for applications like web browsing and word processing. However, opening too many applications at one time could reduce the PC’s speed.

In addition some of the tests run on the laptop’s six cell battery prove that the laptop has a long lasting battery, beating the Samsung NC20.

The main variation between the previous model, the Samsung N120 and the Samsung N110 is that the previous model was much more stylish; however, the newer Samsung has a much better battery life.

The laptop comes with a one year parts warranty and Samsung also provides its customers with 24 hour support through the phone and online chat.
