1. Google Search — Well Google search is first in my list and almost every web user who uses internet in any form uses it for one thing or other. Google search has become an integral part of online life in last few years and One can’t live in cyberspace with Google search. Now you can say that why not other search engine, Yes they are also there but 90% of search performed in Internet space are using Google. So clearly Google is market leader in the search operation and no other Search engine going to take that position for at least 5 more years. If you need more space you can purchase that by paying some nominal fees, but for an home user I don’t see any reason to buy more than 2GB space for their normal usage unless you plan to store all your Video online :-) Dropbox creates a shared folder in your windows explorer and once configured it can be used like any other Folder or partition on your Hard disk.

One of the best things I like about the new Samsung NC20 is that unlike most Netbooks it has 12.1 inch screen and actually one of the very few laptops with Via’s Nano CPU. Another excellent feature of this laptop is that it actually has a larger touchpad compared to most of the netbooks. The full-size keyboard seems to be easy to use; however, there seem to be no quick launch buttons. This however is a common thing for most netbooks. The laptop does not have HDMI ports or ExpressCard slots.

As, mentioned above this is one of the few netbooks with a 12 inch LCD screen. It offers a 1,280 by 800 pixel resolution. In addition, it has Chrome9 graphics, which give it an edge over most of the netbooks that usually use Intel 945 graphics. The measurements of the laptop are 11.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. Samsung has a new laptop in the market since its release of laptops last year. This laptop wins good points for superb keyboard with a few changes here and there and large keys making typing easier. In addition, it also has a very impressive battery life. Here are some of the features in the laptop: the processor is a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270, the RAM is 1GB and it comes with Windows XP. The price of the laptop ranges from $409.00 to $459.00.

There’s nothing extraordinary about the laptop’s design as it has a black inside and smooth black cover. The touch pad is excellent and easy to use as it is larger than most laptops. Basically it’s redesigned from Samsung’s old netbook NC10.

The size of the LCD screen is 10.1 inches and has a resolution of 1,024 by 600. There is also a 1.3 Megapixel extremely useful for video chatting. Because of it’s keyboard size it’s advantageous to buy this as on other netbook your typing speed drops a lot because of Keyboard size.

The performance isn’t outstanding, but is better than satisfactory. It’s pretty good for applications like web browsing and word processing. However, opening too many applications at one time could reduce the PC’s speed.

In addition some of the tests run on the laptop’s six cell battery prove that the laptop has a long lasting battery, beating the Samsung NC20.

The main variation between the previous model, the Samsung N120 and the Samsung N110 is that the previous model was much more stylish; however, the newer Samsung has a much better battery life.
