There are three kind of defined ranges in the Bluetooth technology. The powerful device in the Bluetooth is Class 1 device which has a range of about 100 mw power. This is with the help of an antenna it can go up to a range of amount 130 to 330 feet.
The other class is the lower power. It has the capacity of power of 2.5 mw. In this lower power the antenna will go up to about 50 to 100 feet. There is another one. This is class 3 devices which use less power to that of class 2 and uses 1 mv power. In this class 3 the antenna range will up to about 16 to 33 feet.
Bluetooth technology came to the market for usage within the short distant communication. However irrespective of transmitting data level at short distant it has proved its benefits to the users with great strides.
