If you are a heavy user of internet, you must be using tab feature of Our favorite browser Google chrome. If yes, then you must be opening a lot of tabs, sometime number of tabs increase is so much that managing them become difficult.

Google chrome or any other browser offers very limited space to manage multiple tabs. You can see only a fixed number of tabs without scrolling, once that number is reached, tab list is spanned to next page. Free Plugin for Chrome to Increase Productivity

At first, I was totally diffident to use Google Chrome as my web browser because I was pleasantly hooked to the plugins of my former internet browser. However, when I heard about the steadily increasing Chrome plugins, I gave it a second thought. With outpouring curiosity, I finally gave in to try it out. It’s a good thing that I did. I was stunned as to the efficiency of plugin Chrome especially the programs that are very useful to increase my work productivity and time-efficiency. Yet, I was also amazed upon learning that I could incorporate productivity and style with these Chrome plugins.

Due to the abundance of free plugin for Chrome available these days, I personally made a list of plugins that I find very useful as far as productivity is concerned. Here they are.

This add-on is the primary reason for the popularity of Firefox web browser, and transition to Chrome AdBlock plugin is quite easy. What makes it even more exciting for me is that it can be customized to restrain from showing annoying ads on your selected web pages. Moreover, when the program has overlooked several ads, they can be added onto the program in order to completely block those ads from coming out.

Disables usage statistics of Google Chrome

This option is used to help in Development of Google chrome, It send your usage data to Google so that based on that they can further improve Chrome. But if you are worried about system performance you should disable it . To disable this go to tools menu > Options > Advanced and uncheck the check box which says Send usage data to Google….

Disable DNS Preload in Google Chrome

This will prevent Google chrome to keep DNS info in their cache. Most of time it is unnecessary if you have a good connection of  at least 256kbps or more. It is recommended only for slow dial up connection or Mobile users who actually spend a lot f time in DNS query during browsing.  To disable this you have to go Options > Under the Hood > Privacy – There are 2 checkboxes one says ‘Use a web service to help resolve navigational errors’ and second is ‘ use a prediction service to help complete searches and URL’s typed in address bar’.

You can disable both option or any one of them, first one is used only if you make a mistake while typing any URL while other one is activated by default everytime you start typing a URL.
